You always heard of people commenting about the importance of having chemistry and being compatible in a romantic relationship. However, not many will gloss out the importance of these two in a working relationship.
In an interior design project practice, the designer will always start off a project with the owner with consultation and mood board planning stage. An interior design mood board is a great way to collect inspiration, explore ideas and set the tone for an interior design project. These two stages can be a determination of whether both the designer and the property owner will have the chemistry to execute the project together.
A mood board will reflect the understanding of the designer on the owner’s requirements, and having a mutual understanding at this stage will ease up the rest of the project milestone that will kick in.
Check out some of the mood boards that we have worked out for the Owners based on their requirements.
